THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A VIDEO PRODUCTION FOR YOUR BUSINESS OR PROJECT

THAT WILL STAND OUT FROM THE REST

When thinking about your next video/film or online project  - contact us.  Kevin has a wealth of experience in the story telling business. Whether it's a video for your website or social media, even a TV commercial or just a professional infomercial about yourself, your product, your business - THINK ABOUT IT !   Using a video clip to tell your clients about your NEW venture can be very exciting, if done correctly.  It will also add credibility to your business.

WE LIKE TO KEEP THINGS SIMPLE ... AS WE ARE SURE YOU DO

HOW DOES IT ALL WORK ?(PRE-CREATION OF YOUR BLOCKBUSTER)

Simply give us a call with your ideas and let's brainstorm it, then Kevin can work out a time to catch up over a coffee and go through some ideas together, in more depth. If you are going to be on camera, he'll discuss strategies with you.  Kevin will explain everything, to put you at ease. With his simple run and gun style of filmmaking there's often only one other person involved, so you don't have to be concerned about standing in front of a crowd.

AGREEMENT TO GO TO PRODUCTION

Once we have agreed upon the storyline and concept of your new video, we'll carefully plan the filming. It may only require one location or a series of different places. Together you will plan it in detail so everything runs smoothly.

WHEN WILL WE BE ABLE TO SEE OUR FILM

Depending on the number of days filming, and locations, we will have a first draft to you as soon as possible. This will be all  arranged during the initial stages, before filming commences. Kevin likes everything running to schedule, so when we give you a time,  we'll  stick by it.

DELIVERY OF YOUR PROJECT/FILM

Conditional to where your creative piece will be used , internet, TV etc, ( and once you are satisfied with your project edit), it could be as little as a few days before it's finished and delivered to you via internet link.

SO... HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST ME

We'll give an estimation of cost to you, at the initial consultation. Depending on equipment required for the process, basic costs are approximately $850 per day.  This covers most things included in the average online production (around 2 to 3 minutes - - YouTube/Facebook/Vimeo)  A small production (Filming/editing to draft) takes approximately 2 to 3 days - this is a good place to start. (Kevin will run through all this with you at your initial meeting with him)

VIDEO, FILM,  YOUTUBE,  SOCIAL  MEDIA  AND  TV  PROJECTS
HOW IMPORTANT ARE THEY TO YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS TODAY???

TODAY... Social media is everything - Facebook is the number one social media business tool out there right now... used correctly, it is a powerful builder in your business network.  Facebook is also the number 2 video player that's being watched at the moment - not the best... but the 2nd most watched. It's in a war with Google's Youtube to get more businesses and capture the media market at present.  Many  companies are seeing that online, short videos are the future, and by grabbing a piece of this multi-billion dollar industry, they will be sure to keep their shareholders happy.

One of the biggest differences between Facebook and YouTube is intent and discovery. Users go to YouTube with the sole intent of watching videos and to search for them on their own, creating their own personalized viewing experiences. YouTube is considered to be the No. 2 search engine in the world. Google is still number one.

Today, along with Twitter, Instagram and the many other modern day social media assets available,  they are an important tool to aid in the growth of your business.  If you are not using any of these, you are missing out on lots of cash flow opportunities.  Talk with us and we will give you some ideas that work.

The KEY factor is to simply message. Short paragraphs, keeping to the point. Use the old KISS rule (Keep it Simple Stupid),  post  images and/or video consistently. It doesn't have to be amazing brain stunning stuff - just informative, friendly and inviting to your potential clients.  The average Youtube viewing today is between 2 and 3 minutes. Every day it's getting shorter. For supporters and followers of an organization (if you run a non-profit or charity) the retention rate is much higher.  Talk with us, we will advise you on what works best.

Remember, your video has to be interesting and to the point. Some videos are so outrageous, you'd never think they'd hold the viewer's attention but strangely enough they do. Some even go on to join the 1 million club. Right from the start your video must be able to capture the attention of your audience. The TV,  30 second commercials,  are a classic example. There is only a very short time to say it all and with screening rates running into millions of dollars (The USA Football or Baseball finals) those commercials had better work.

THE BEST VIDEO LENGTH FOR YOUR PURPOSES

Here’s what we think about the best length for different videos on YouTube/Facebook:

  • Favour short videos. If you can make it shorter and make all the same points, do so.

  • Be sure to start off energized, and get the important stuff in. Your audience will start to disappear over the length of your video. Video length on Facebook is one of the mysteries of content production in the digital age. We looked at the data to see what works., fewer than 60% of your viewers will still be with you–against 75% for a 1-2 minute video. Here's some interesting views on Youtube lengths.

  • Don’t hold your call to action until the end, especially for longer videos. Consider a clickable annotation that appears in the first few seconds, like this one for SOS Children’s Villages – USA

  • Think about breaking your longer videos up into digestible bits. Training in particular lends itself to this. Instead of making a single video that shows a long process, make a playlist that links pieces of the process for a coherent whole. That makes it easy to learn your process in digestible chunks suited to current attention spans. A speech that is clearly delineated into sections with different subtopics will break up well into smaller pieces, too. Side benefits to this break-up are an increased number of video assets and most likely an increased number of views for videos on your channel.

  • On the other hand, don’t ruin a great speech by breaking it up. If a speech has been designed as a single continuous speech, keep it as is and allow the audience to sit back and experience the full impact.

This is why small business is turning to social media - it's affordable and when done correctly,  you cannot afford to be without it.
